SUMMARY:Sketching the Urban Environment
DESCRIPTION:Starting Location: Outside of the Civic Center/Grand Park Metro Station on N. Hill St. \nThe Landscape Architecture Alumni Connection of UCLA Extension invites you to join us and Chip Sullivan on a jouney through Downtown Los Angeles.\nChip Sullivan is a landscape architect and a professor at U.C. Berkeley. He is a recognized sketch artist and a master at capturing the essence of a place. Chip is the author of Drawing the Landscape and the recently published Cartooning the Landscape\, which he will be selling and signing the day of. The book will sell for $30. If interested bring cash or check.\nPlease wear comfortable shoes and clothing\, bring sun-protective gear\, and your own water. We will break for lunch near Grand Central Market. Lunch is not included in the price. You may pack your own food if you prefer.
