DESCRIPTION:As part of the Cal Poly Pomona’s Department of Landscape Architecture year-long 60th anniversary celebrations\, we cordially invite alumni and CPPLA friends to a special social event held at the recently constructed Inamori Pavilion in the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park\, San Diego. \nJoin us for an evening of cocktails and appetizers in Inamori Pavilion and take a walk in the twilight hours through the meandering pathways of the Garden. A special presentation and tribute will be held to commemorate the late Dr. Takeo Uesugi\, who designed the Japanese Friendship Garden. Dr. Uesugi taught and mentored many generations of landscape architects practicing across the Southern California region.
