CLARB will host a joint Licensure Web Summit on August 18, at 3:00 p.m. EDT. With COVID-19 and licensure mobility leading the regulation headlines for the last few months, it is important for our community to remember deregulation efforts remain an active threat to licensure as we know it. While mobility is something we can all promote (pre-, during, and post-COVID-19), we also know rigid licensure requirements must remain in place to protect the public’s health, safety, and welfare—something the opposition is quick to de-emphasize. The government affairs teams from CLARB and ASLA will share lessons learned from the 2020 legislative session, current trends, and what we expect to see in 2021.
