Event Description : Get a visceral understanding of the LA River and why its one of the biggest landscape opportunities in Southern California. This 2.5-mile long trip will be on the “Sepulveda Basin” section of the LA River, which is a wonderfully green, leisurely, flatwater paddle, with deeper water and few obstacles. It’s located within a large recreational park in the San Fernando Valley, surrounded by neighborhoods such as: Encino, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Reseda and Canoga Park.

The tour will include two guides from LA River Expeditions who will provide paddling instruction and details about the river.
Price: $30 per person. (Kayak, helmet, life jacket and all safety equipment is provided)
