The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) is holding an inspiring and insightful virtual conversation between Kongjian Yu, winner of the 2023 Cornelia Hahn Oberlander International Landscape Architecture Prize, and the prize Jury Chair, Elizabeth Mossop. They will discuss the evolution of Yu’s “Sponge Cities” concept, the premise being to deal with climate change accelerated urban flooding, absorb the water with constructed wetlands rather than channeling it with concrete damns and other conventional engineering solutions.
