For millennia, Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley have been a magnetic destination for visitors. From rare plants and roadside geology to hot springs and canyon oases, the desert rewards careful observation. Downtown Park is a new 2-acre public open space in the heart of Palm Springs. The park offers a shady oasis for residents and visitors near the Palm Springs Art Museum. Sited on the grounds of the historic Desert Inn, the design draws on Palm Springs’ legacy as a destination for seekers of health, nature, and pleasure.
