Kiku Kurahashi, a long-time landscape designer at AHBE Landscape Architects, passed away quietly on July 19, 2018 in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer.
Kiku joined AHBE in 1999 where she advanced as a design leader. Kiku’s contributions to AHBE’s practice includes many award-winning projects, such as Airport Park; Burbank Water and Power EcoCampus; Holy Spirit Retreat; the Zev Yaroslavsky Family Support Center, and Inspiration Park at the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools — to name a few. During her nearly 20 years with AHBE, she collaborated on more than 500 projects.
