Landscape Designer (2+ Years of Experience)

BMLA is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Landscape Designer with a minimum of 2 years of experience. We are a well-established landscape architecture firm with 37 years of expertise, located in Southern California. Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a design office, demonstrate the ability to multitask, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Irrigation experience is preferred, and knowledge of GIS is a plus. You will engage in various project types and contribute to all phases of the design process, from site analysis and conceptual design to construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary design team.
• Contribute to site analysis, conceptual design, and construction documentation.
• Utilize tools such as LandFX, Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, and GIS to create compelling designs and presentations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and InDesign.
• Strong rendering and graphic design skills are highly desired.
• Experience with LandFX and GIS is advantageous.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and EMWD standards is a plus.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture

Compensation

• Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $24 to $30 per hour including full benefit package.
