Position Overview:
Are you a seasoned drafting professional with a passion for detail and design? Ecocentrix is seeking a Senior Landscape Architectural Draftsperson to translate visionary landscape designs into precise technical drawings and construction documents. This remote, part-time, W-2 position offers flexibility, collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute to exceptional projects across diverse locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Drafting and Documentation
Develop detailed landscape architectural drawings, including planting, irrigation, hardscape plans, and technical details using AutoCAD.
Create and refine technical construction documents, ensuring compliance with codes and industry standards.
Maintain drafting consistency and file organization across all projects.
Collaboration and Project Coordination
Work closely with our team of landscape architects, designers, and project managers, as well as with multidisciplinary project teams, to bring creative visions to life.
Actively participate in weekly virtual project review meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
Incorporate client and consultant feedback into designs while maintaining alignment with project goals.
Utilize our project management system to track progress and ensure seamless communication.
Quality Assurance
Perform quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate, clear, and aligned with project requirements.
Uphold drafting standards to deliver professional, high-quality documentation.
Project and Time Management
Submit weekly time cards via the company’s online tracking system to ensure accountability.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
Experience: 8–12 years in drafting, with a robust portfolio showcasing technical proficiency in landscape architecture.
Technical Skills: Mastery of AutoCAD (latest version). Familiarity with Adobe Suite, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus.
Expertise: Strong knowledge of landscape architecture principles, materials, grading, and local building codes.

Employment Classification:
This position is classified as a W-2 employee role for candidates based in California, in accordance with the state’s AB5/ABC laws. For candidates residing outside of California, we are open to discussing consultant arrangements where applicable by law.
