Intermediate Level Landscape Designer

Job Description:

This position will be a production support role for our project managers and/or team leaders, with training for future management responsibilities. The role of the Job Captain involves coordinating with internal team members, consultant team members and clients at all levels of project planning, conceptual design, schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration duties on-site/in-office. There are also opportunities to lead specialty projects that focus on interests that align with both the candidates’ personal goals and LCI’s professional goals.

Duties:

Job Captain will assist with the preparation of schematic designs and construction documentation including design, planting plans/ details, hardscape plans/ details, irrigation plans/ details, specifications, estimates and occasional construction administration duties.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a candidate with successful entry level work experience and who is looking to grow into a new position within an established firm that boasts a track record of successes within the industry. A team player with strong technical and analytic skills with a diverse set of graphic capabilities is desirable.

Examples of various of project types (public, private, commercial, etc.) and package types (Conceptual, Schematic, Construction Documents, etc.) should be included in the candidate’s portfolio that represent a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and 3D-programs or a combination there of.

Education Requirements: Master’s or bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture
