Join the ASLA SoCal Webinar series, as the UC Irvine Office of Environmental Planning & Sustainability, and UC Cooperative Extension researchers speak about green infrastructure on the UC Irvine campus as well as the impact of the shot hole borer beetle on the campus’ urban forest. UC Irvine staff will provide an overview of green infrastructure and significant landscapes on the campus. Following this overview researchers will provide an introduction to shot hole borer, infestation status throughout southern California, and current research. As the UC Irvine campus lost over 600 trees to the Polyphagous Shot Hole Borer we will discuss current reforestation planning on the UCI campus.
