It was the summer of ‘74 when I decided I wanted to become a Landscape Architect. I was accepted into the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Architecture program, but the course work catalog for Landscape Architecture appeared to be much more diverse and in keeping with my interest and love of the outdoors. I switched my major prior to the first day of class. That bold move was a changing point in my life.
Aside from my wife and children, pursuing Landscape Architecture was the best thing I have ever done. We have had a great life in the pursuit of making better communities through Landscape Architecture.
