The Southern California Chapter is pleased to announce that Carlos Flores, Southern California Chapter member and recent Alum from Cal Poly Pomona, has been appointed to serve as committee chair for the upcoming year on the Associate Advisory Committee. The Associate Advisory Committee (AAC) and the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) are “two new national committees” established by the ASLA Board of Trustees on May 20, 2016 at their mid-year meeting. The purpose of these committees is to increase the ability of ASLA to gain insight on the priorities of emerging professionals and learn how best to provide membership value to student and associate members. Each committee will consist of six members.

Carlos Flores will serve in the role of Vice President, Liaison to Students on the Southern California Chapter’s Executive Committee and will take over for Kim Rhodes from David Evans and Associates beginning October 1, 2016.
